This is a must have track if you enjoy reggae. The beat is fresh and fits perfectly, and Afu-Ra is definitely an extremely underrated lyricist, so enjoy the hell outta this track.

Insertion of Thought by Down to Erf
This is a real rare track from the elusive Down to Erf. I really can't find much about the guy or any albums but this a smooth track with a simple simple beat that almost fades into your mind. Give it a go and enjoy.

Gravediggaz - 6 Feet Deep
This is a pretty well known album and it's pretty influential. If you're into Odd Future, Necro, or anything kinda in the horrorcore vein, you might enjoy this. The raps are weird and dark, and the beat is not the typical dance break or catchy synths. Instead, the beat is something out of a bizarro rap universe. Also, this is one of RZA's big breaks aside from wu-tang. Good shit over all.

Jigmastas - Keep on Rockin
Here's a smooth cut from underground group, Jigmastas. DJ Spinna lays down a super smooth beat with a real catchy chorus. This is some great stuff right out of Brooklyn from a group that really should get more exposure than they did. Give it a listen and keep on rockin'

J-Live "MCEe"
Today I'm choosing another incredible song by J-Live. He takes the title of MC to a whole 'nother level on this track and he almost exclusively uses words that start with M and C for most of the song.
...Know why, cuz I'm a
Master of Ceremony
Making a Comeback and
Moving the Crowd with Mad Charisma
Most of y'all Cornballs
Mingle at Concerts
Making a Claim but you know who is the "MC"
More Concentration on My Cadence Might Cloud your mind
Controlling your Movement Capaciously
My Capacity to Massacre Crumbs
And Motivate Change Most Certainly Makes you Consider me
Champion, Microphone is Consistently
Modelling Candor of Magnificence
See My Conduct is Mute to Cajolery
I Maintain with Clamency and Manificence
Cunning and Marvelous
Crafty yet Malevolent
To all Cultivators of Mindless Crap
I Rarely Recognize the Rude Ramblings of those Random Riff Raffs
Cuz they just Rap and I

MC
It's sad to see such an underated artist, who not only produced this beat (and most of his own tracks), but is also a public school teacher by day. The man is truly 1-in-a-1,000,000.
Another fun fact I learned was about the true source of the album art inspiration. Does it look familiar to you? If you're a jazz buff you should because it's the quite famous...
Enjoy the track y'all.

Akbar - Mothaship
Akbar is kind of odd compared to a lot of other rappers, his topics on this album vary between the usual and the supernatural space oddities. This song especially. He raps about an alien mother ship over a slow and funky beat. His flow is his usual, relaxed and full of thought. An excellent album to relax to, and this song is thought evoking. Very cool ideas all around.

Eminem and Royce da 5'9" and animal crackers
Today, in light of the new Bad Meets Evil album drop (which I haven't been able to check yet), I'm putting up an old Em freestyle with the legendary Stretch Armstrong ("animal crackers"). Enjoy!

Hood Music
I'm starting off today by posting one of my favorite songs to get pumped to. Gully, by Perverted Monks has an absolutely devilish piano riff on the track and whenever I hear this song, I just feel like a hoodlum. This is definitely a track to bump if you're rolling around looking for trouble, or just want something to feel like a bad dude to.
